I came up on the East side of San Francisco, and was raised on Star Trek TNG, junk food, Chinese Takeout, and monthly car trips to Central Valley to see the folks of my folks. As a child, I liked dogs, PBS, and Mortal Kombat. I attended parochial school and have since disavowed myself from all compulsory learning. However, I currently attend San Francisco State as an Ecology major - voluntarily. I would like to join a jazz ensemble (on the drums) or old time Country&Western group (on slide guitar) one day, hopefully after I've learned these instruments with some proficiency. I also hope to study patterns in air pollution and industrial toxicology - here in the US or abroad, maybe in China. I love listening to esoteric radio music programs, and foraging around in used book stores for the detritus of pop and academic culture. I also enjoy shopping for organic and specialty produce, staring at people on the Muni, and wandering through abandoned or rundown areas such as former farm, industrial, military, or mixed use zones, as well as old shipping ports. As a possible extension of this(?), I especially love the high desert, i.e. Joshua Tree National Park, and would one day like to travel extensively through the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts.

I have three requirements for the having of "good times".

1.) Fresh Air
2.) Shade from the Sun
3.) Acceptable Noise Levels

In this, I am much like your average houseplant.
